I had an incredible stay at this hotel in Lamego. The value for money was exceptional, with prices that were very reasonable for the quality and amenities provided. One highlight was the attention to detail, with rooms that had a kitchen for guests to use. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay. Another great aspect was the location of the hotel on the hill above the town. The views were absolutely stunning and it felt like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area, providing valuable recommendations for exploring the region. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and served with a kind surprise that made it extra special.
There was nothing to dislike about my experience at this hotel.

We recently spent Christmas at a hotel in the Douro Valley, and it was a wonderful experience. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with a fantastic view of the surrounding valley. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to nearby vineyards and quaint towns to explore. What we liked the best, however, was the warm hospitality. The staff was incredibly welcoming and readily available to answer any questions we had and help us make the most of our stay.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, there were a couple of small drawbacks. One negative aspect was that the hotel was a bit of a walk from the main town and the amenities that it offered, such as restaurants and shops.

During my stay, I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel facilities. The room I stayed in was clean and well-decorated, with large windows that provided plenty of natural light. Additionally, the shared lounge area and kitchen were exceptional and allowed me to prepare my own meals in a comfortable and welcoming environment. I also appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the hotel's proximity to the city centre, which allowed for easy transportation and access to local attractions.
No issues.

During Christmas, we had a wonderful time at this hotel. the rooms were very nice and clean, and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. the staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel is located in a quiet area with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It was perfect for a peaceful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The lack of restaurants and bars nearby. We found it difficult to find places to eat at night, especially during the holidays when many establishments were closed.
